What if my website is larger than three pages?!

It can be as many pages as necessary. Remember, the add-ons and package examples given on this website are just that -- examples. The base "Super Budget" website includes three pages because that's the average very new businesses need.

But we'll make your website conform to YOUR expectations, not the other way around. Incidentally, we'll also help you save money, on average, while doing so.

In quantifiable terms, that means that we will either come up with ways to fit your content onto less pages (without clutter), or you can add on pages ... starting at just $30 each.

Is there an ongoing contract?

Nope. Once you make the final payment on your website package, you're free and clear. (You can stay with us for Web hosting if you choose to, but it's entirely up to you.)

If I do decide to host my site here ... how long am I obligated to do so?

There's no long-standing obligation. Hosting packages are billed on a month-to-month basis. Meaning, you pay up front for just one month's worth of service -- then use it. At the end of the month, you can let your plan autorenew and stay with us, or you can cancel it and move your website elsewhere.

If that should happen, we'll certainly miss the opportunity to serve you ... but again, we believe in the all-important power of choice.

Okay, so no long-term contract. I get it! But is a Maintenance or Update package ... available?

Technically, no...

Since we offer those services strictly "as-needed", the cost of any updates or maintenance you might need is discussed only when (and if) you come back to us with that need. For that reason, there aren't any pre-arranged packages to choose from.

However, there's a new add-on that might interest you if you anticipate needing minor content-based updates that will fit the context of your new design (like adding new articles or news items to a directory or archive, for instance). That add-on is called "Do-It-Yourself Updates", and costs only $50 (one time, not monthly) for install.

Even better, the "D.I.Y. Updates" add-on is completely non-technical! Meaning, if you understand how to submit a simple online contact form, then you'll understand how to update your website using this add-on. :~)

Can you optimize my website for submission to the search engines?

All websites are designed to be search-engine friendly so that your site will be accepted into search engines, not penalized by them. As far as the actual page content itself, you have two options:

A) Provide search engine-optimized content you've written on your own, targeted toward your keyword(s) of choice; or B) Add budget content-writing to your website package, provided by a partner of ours. Trusted, 10+ year friend and colleague Larry L. Nichols of WordandWebBiz.com has been professionally (and affordably) offering copywriting and ghostwriting services for 30 years. Aren't we lucky. ;)

How long after confirming the quote and paying the retainer will my website be done?

If you're prompt with getting your content and payment(s) in by the suggested due date(s), the vast majority of websites -- even those implementing several "Simple" add-ons -- are turned over within 14 days. More complex sites with large numbers of pages, or "Pro" add-ons, may take a bit longer (approximately 3 weeks).

In either case, you'll be given a specific completion estimate and timeline before your project begins. You'll also be kept fully abreast of your project's exact progress through the Project Management Center, for which you'll receive a log-in when your project begins. You'll be able to track all changes, tasks pending/in progress/completed, files shared, communication about your project details, and more.

When/how will I make payments on my website project?

There's an initial retainer fee of $150 for all projects, with the remainder of project payment(s) coming due directly in relation to the completion of set milestones across the life of the project. For more details, please click here to jump to the related section of the Service Contract.

What if I decide I don't want a website after I've already paid my retainer? Do you offer refunds?

Conditional ones, yes. But due to the nature of the business of design, it's not practical for a one-woman business such as this one to offer refunds without limitations.

It's definitely best to be sure you're ready to take your business to the next level with a high-class website and logo before contracting our services and paying your retainer. But we understand that, sometimes, "life happens". :~) So please see here for the full refund terms and policies.

My question isn't answered here. Where's your contact form?

Right here. :) Please expect a friendly, personal reply in one business day or less. Speak with you soon.
